History
In 1968, the coachbuilder Oreste Berta founded the company in Alta Gracia with the aim of applying systematic engineering to national motor racing. The initial small workshop grew around its own test bench and a way of working based on measurement and careful recording of results. Among the early milestones were the development of the Torino that competed at the Nürburgring and the participation in local and international Formula, TC2000, Turismo Carretera and Rally categories. During the following decades, the company progressively incorporated calculation tools, CAD and metallographic tests, while training technicians and collaborators within the region. This process made it possible to design and produce engines, chassis and components that met the needs of local teams and manufacturers. The combination of hands-on experimentation, constant adaptation and in-house training established the principles of quality and reliability that still guide the company.
Actuality
Today the company, headed by Oreste Berta Jr., operates as a vehicle technology center with design, testing and component manufacturing services. Facilities include electronic laboratories, engine benches up to 1,000 hp, climatic chambers and CNC machining cells, all under a data management system that ensures traceability. We serve five main sectors: motorsport, automotive terminals, oil and gas companies, small-scale aeronautical applications and agricultural machinery. Our work ranges from single-part engineering to component validation under OEM standards, with emphasis on alternative fuel and energy efficiency when the project requires it. Collaborations with universities and technical suppliers bring new simulation methodologies and materials. In addition, an auditorium and training programs allow knowledge sharing with customers and professionals. In this way, the company continues to offer solid and practical engineering solutions, maintaining the line of seriousness and continuous improvement initiated by its founder.
